Straight 40. I'm not overly brand-conscious, but it happens that I'm sitting in
the waiting room (the wonders of air cards!) of a DD service operation getting
an oil change as I type this, and they are using Delo 100.

As an aside, CCW tried to change my oil in January but couldn't get the plug
out. It has/had a male square 5/8-inch plug. The guys here were only able to
round it off some more, so they welded a large nut to it, and that allowed them
to get enough torque to do the job. It was cross-threaded, with most of the
damage done to the plug and not the pan. They think that cleaning the threads
with a tap will allow a new plug to work OK.

Jack,
There is many varied opinions about oil.
I use only Shell Rotella 40 weight in my 8V92. I buy it from the local distributor.
