Cold weather camping
Ernie, I'm originally from Arlington. Used to ride motorcycles at the Flying P
in Weatherford, as well as attend First Monday trade days. Be careful going home
and have some BBQ for me when you get there. Doug

If your're heading down 287, Picture Canyon and Crack Cave are very interesting
places
from an archaeological point of view. There are people who think that the
writing found
on the walls of the canyon is similar to ancient European Ogym (sp?). Alibates
Flint
quarries, north of Amarillo are also very cool

Thanks, Kerry- with all the problems I have had, and being 6 months away
from home, I'll put those locations on my return trip in the spring.

For the first time in over a month, there are no freeze protection
heaters, baseboard electric heaters, propane heaters, and electric
blankets on in my coach. Power off?? HECK NO- it's 62 degrees outside.
I have learned a lot in this past month on what can be done to get
around the cold. The only real remedy- stay south !! Ernie-83PT40 in
Montana- snow is melting
