NEVER AGAIN!!!-- I have been subjected to the extreme- well, to me, and
my coach, for the last week. Wind, snow, ice, and temps close to zero
wreck havoc on things you never think about.
Yesterday, after leaving Livingston, my susp dump lite was flickering.
No problem- usually corrects itself in due time. Noticed the front air
gauge cycling between 90 and 125. Pulled off the road and listened-
couldn't hear anything. Got to Billings to a Freightliner shop and
parked way out in parking lot. After talking to Steve Gureasko, Bim
Burt, and Terry Neal, i performed some tests. Luckily one of those was
dumping the air out of the suspension- it WORKS!!
Drove to Kaycee, Wy and spent the nite. Got up, fired the coach and air
was leaking from valve on accelerator. What next?
Messed with that and finally that worked. I guess all the extremely
cold temps froze up things- other then my shower drain and all fresh
water, holding tanks, etc.
Hopefully, will be able to drive out of this cold tomorrow.

Ernie, Sorry to hear about the problems, but join the club. We drove 'Pokey"
home from Tampa into freezing weather, and now sub zero temps. I have set up a
aux. air connection to air the rig up off or shop air while I look for leaks. My
LH air gauge leaks down pretty fast, but I can't find the leak. Seems like every
time I crawl under, I find a new one. Tighten fittings, snug up flanges, replace
valves, and still I lose air. Hopefully most of your woes will remedy themselves
when you reach warmer temps. I do know that moisture in your air system will let
air crystals form and create leaks in blowoff valves like at your dryer. Glad
you visited, but you'll probably be happy when you're out of here.
