GENERATOR INFO NEEDED PLEASE HELP
Hi Jamie, I have a 88XXV with the same gen set. Check
a few things. Go to the basement and turn off the breakers from the gen set. If there is a short the Gen won't run. On the gen it self, there is a solenoid to keep the fuel control throttle open. The wire can vibrate off or have grease on it. There are sensors to turn off the gen if you loose oil pressure or the gen gets to hot. If any are not working they would keep the gen from running. I have had the breaker, solenoid, and hot sensor have problems. Most were loose wires. For the Filters, mine has a Racor filter canister. It's located on the right side of the gen set conected to the coach. If this is what you have let me know and I'll send you the numbers for the filter. Paul Williams

GENERATOR INFO NEEDED PLEASE HELP
Check the air filter. Black smoke is a sign that the engine isn't getting enough air.
NAPA Auto parts (and many other auto parts stores) will have cross reference lists for filters, if someone on this list doesn't have the right numbers. Pete Masterson '95 Blue Bird Wanderlodge WBDA 42 El Sobrante CA "aeonix1@mac.com" On May 21, 2009, at 11:23 AM, gasparillaglass wrote:

GENERATOR INFO NEEDED PLEASE HELP
Hi I had some work done on the coach. In my storage area, front left is a breaker box. There are only 2 breakers that are 50 amp each. They are for each leg in the coach. If you have a short in the lines to the coach from the Gen, the gen engine will not run.
