6V battery question
Hi John,
I've had the Sam's Club 6v golf cart batteries in my BB since Feb, 2001 (Stowaway brand, Model GV2). Other than checking the water level about once a month, and having a decent charging system (Progressive Dynamics Incorporated chargers), the batteries show no signs of failure. I took out my Trojan T105's (six of them) when they would no longer hold a charge. I keep my BB plugged in to a 30a 110v circuit always, except when on the road. I'd buy the Sam's Club batteries again, and will, when the current ones go south (unless someone can find the Trojans for less). Personally, with batteries, I'll most likely go with the cheapest. (Sam's Club has a 1 yr warranty on these specific batteries). Let us know what you decide. Kevin McKeown Yorba Linda, CA 1986 38' PT [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
