During the 5+ years I was a long haul trucker I had a big red sign in the lower
center section of my windshield that said beware of dog. And NEVER had anybody
approach the truck. Just the fear of an unkown quantity (the beast) is enough.
The problem with a gun is that if you have to use it, you will lose no matter
the outcome because of todays society and lawyers. Jim
