Information on what happens to a towing car after its been towed 50,000 miles

I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty that I have towed aprox 180,000 miles and it is driven about 70,000 miles. We use it regularly. Have the original shocks, on third set of tires. I use the Jeep for off-roading (not extreme) and for driving the sand dunes on both coasts and also beach cruising. Don't mean to sound like a Jeep commercial. I'd say you have to consider the general use and upkeep of the vehicle. By this I mean of course its been used to run here > and there but after that what happens to the suspension and other > related gear by being towed. I'm thinking of buying a 2001 Sunbird > Pontiac with towing gear on it. It has an automatic and like I said > befor its has close to 50,000 miles of towing and driving. Thanks Jon > |
