				Sound-deadening mat under carpet?

					Hello Scott,

We installed an enclosed/fan cooled generator in our coach and then replaced the decaying foam insulation with new 1" thick sound insulation material on the interior of the generator compartment. Also installed a new pancake style muffler on the generator exhaust. We still hear a low roar when the generator is on but we can sleep with it on without a problem.
