Bulk Oil Fill
Howard,
On 8/22/07, Howard O. Truitt > > On my 86 PT40 there is a bulk oil fill tank. I have a drawing showing a 6 pin connector. > Anyone know where this connector is located. Open the side panel of the coach so you can look directly at the bulk oil fill tank from the passenger side. The connector should be roughly in the middle of the thing, maybe a bit to the right, and slightly behind it. Mine is on a bracket welded to the tank if memory recalls. I believe this is a connection to a solenoid (you should see it right in there, too) that opens a valve to push air into the bulk oil tank when energized by the oil fill switch, thus forcing oil out the nozzle. Hope this helps. -Ryan '86 PT-40 8V92 Tri-Cities, WA |
