New member - posting info. A& air brake "learning" needed
I'm the pride owner of a 1965+/- Bus/RV with a Chevy 366V8 gas
engine, 4-spd. manual transmission, etc. that's a great old RV.

Trouble is - I had air compressor issues and let it sit for several
(count like 7 yrs.) and now I want to make it come alive!

I'm changing fluids, pre-lubing engine, install new engine monitoring
gauges, etc. before I crank it up. But my real concern is the clutch,
the compressor for the brakes, and the air brake system itself. Do I
go w/ what I've got and fix leaks as they occur or do I replace all
my air lines due to their 35+ yrs. This was a school transit bus so
it was built tough...in the 1960's though?

*Where can I go to learn more about my air brakes and how they
operate? I've got parts I cannot ID and I'd like to photo them and
ask group's advice!

**How do I attach photos to a post to this group?
