AC Transfer Switch
My '90 SP-36 has a bad contactor in the AC transfer switch. The switch was made
by Todd Engineering, now out of business. The contactor has their name on it with a part # TES-350. Does anyone here know the manufacturer and perhaps a cross reference? I've been Googling for two hours with no success. Thanks Paul Cunningham Virginia 1990 SP-36 |

AC Transfer Switch
Paul,
I had to replace my transfer switch and somehow, Ryan at Mr. Olivers managed to find the proper circuit board. His number is 972-562-8008. Also, Ralph Fullenwider knows where to get replacements. AC Transfer Switch
Hi Paul:
I put a replacement AT switch info on the Forum in the Parts folder I believe. It is made my Lyght Systems. The contractors in the Todd looked to be Cutler Hammer and the contacts in those are replaceable but I had never found a rebuild kit for them. The rebuild kits would be a set of contacts, and new spring with a keeper. From experience in electrical pannels, if one set has arced then the other is ready as well. The guts of the Lyght unit is identical to the Todd but the box is larger so I swapped boxes and it is a good retrofit. AC Transfer Switch
Thanks Brad, Ralph & Mike for the help. I ended up taking the contactor apart
and honeing the contacts. Works great but for how long, I know not.
