exterior refrigerator vent/service access panel
Hello,

When we got to our destination we noticed that the outside grill, vent panel
thing for the refrigerator was missing. Anybody know of a source to find a
replacement?

Thanks so much!

Mine is labeled as a Dometic RM2214, which means 22x14 inches. Here's one:

There's a dometic distributor in Portland that would likely have one, and
probably any RV place can get one.

Don's note gave you the right part. It is different than the old one though, and
better. You will need some grey putty tape as a sealer as the old frame has to
come off and the new frame and door (hinged) goes on in the same hole.

Robert,

You happen to be in RV country where your at. Tons of RV places along I5. There must be some salvage yards too. This is where I would start and I bet you find what your looking for at very reasonable price.

Both Dometic and Norcold have had huge recalls on their fridges for quite number of years. Bound to be some parts around.

On another note I urge everyone to check out their fridge serial number on the Dometic and Nor Cold website to make sure you do not have a recall. Frequently it result in fire and can be devastating very quickly. I have seen 2 cases of this locally here this summer.

Along those lines, Norcold has a new recall out on 1200/1201 models manufactured
from 1997 through a couple of weeks ago. This recall INCLUDES ones that might
have been repaired under earlier recalls, as the repair itself is also recalled.
