MYSTERY PART IN FUEL LINE
Hello to All
I have an 83FC with a 3208 cat. I have a leak in the fuel network and I
have no clue what the part is. It is silver in color and very brightly
polished. It has an In and Out fuel line and a single Wire, the leak is on the
"out" side. I have crawled all over the underside and can't tell where the
copper tubing comes from or where it goes. It has Holley stamped on it, has a
"capped off" (drain?) in the bottom and what appears to be an adjustment(?) on
one side. That is about all that I can see. It is located between the frame
rails, to the passenger side of the drive shaft, near the air dryer, at about
the back of the propane tank which is outside of the frame rails.
Thanks to All for their help.

MYSTERY PART IN FUEL LINE
it is an auxiliary fuel pump to aid the cat pump
so the kitty cat is not trying to draw the fuel all the way from the tank

Below is a link to a thread at the WOG forum regarding the Facet pump. There is
a photo and part # too. PIA to switch out. There's no shut off on our 83 FC and
glad I had it done... poor guy got a real good diesel bath!
