Perkins Injector Pump Leaking (WARNING)
I had a bad diesel fuel smell in the gen set bay. This is the second time I had
this problem and I tought I had corrected it but I was wrong.I found that the
fuel shut off lever shaft was leaking. I removed the top injector pump cover
replaced the two o rings on the fuel shut off shaft and the other fuel shaft
and base gasket. This has corrected the problem. .I blead the injector pump and
fuel lines and the engine was missing.I had this problem before and again the
air filter was the problem. Now runs great. IAm posting this as a WARNING
because I saw a Bluebird at our local Diesel shop that the gen set caught on
fire and burnt the front end of the coach the owners escaped out the bedroom
windows. Lee Condosta 85 PT 40 Holden Beach N.C

Perkins Injector Pump Leaking (WARNING)
I have not had that one yet but I did have to put a speedy sleeve on my front crank shaft to stop a major oil leak in front
