Low Water Pressure with Water Pump On
Was hooked to shore water for a week and now back at the home front. With the coach Water Pump ON, the faucets have low volume/pressure. Fill Tank SW is in the off position. Thoughts appreciated?

Curt

Is the Sporlan valve closing all the way? I just put in a rebuild kit this last
weekend because mine wouldn't close all the way, gave me lower pressure but also
pushed water back out the fresh water feed. I had put in a rebuild kit about 2
years ago, the old diaphram was noticeably harder than the new one I put in now.

Low Water Pressure with Water Pump On

Curt,

I have had a similar experience, usually
after a trip. I have cleared it both times by hooking up to shore water, put
switch in fill position, leave the pump on, momentarily open all faucets, Then
turn off fill switch, and close faucets. I figured that I picked up some dirt
in the sporin valve and was trying to flush it out. So far it has worked.

If the pump shuts down it isnt the sporlan fill switch?

read voltage to pump and amp draw when running to check if it is an elecrtical/
motor issue. ( Maybe some one knows what the proper amp limit is?

I would disconnect the exhaust side of the pump and see how the pump spits
without friction after

If there is more pressure when you first turn the pressurized system on and it
pisses lowvolumn then it is pump or supply

If you have a air purge switch in the water closet turn it on and you will have water.....this happens to me when I forget that I am filling the tank and I have a overflow.
