Batteries not charging-both engine and coach
I have been told that when you have a battery bank with one or more batteries
that are died and have to be replaced, it is better to replace the whole bank.
If not, your brand new fresh batteries will go down the the level of the
remaining batteries. Based on what you are saying that is not true. Please
help clear this up for me.

amp charger, I found out this week that when there is no power ti the charger it
goes in to monitor mode.My batteries were doing the same as yours. Out of 4 have
two bad. The voltage dropped to 0 and suffocated the plates. Take yours to a
parts store that does free battery testing. just checking for voltage on
indicates what it is charged to not the actual   condition of the battery need a
load to do that.

Bottom line is, if you do not have 14.1 or so vdc AT the charger out put,
your chargers are not charging and will not charge any banks of batteries,
period. This can be arm chaired all over the place,, lol,, in fact it
already has been.

batteries so far since they are sealed gel type, very expensive($800 for 4) just
2 or 3 yrs ago. I just got all 4 charged in my garage last night with my shop
chargers. They all charged to 12.3 + or - a few tenths. By the way they are
Optima blue top batteries from Cosco's. I will take them to NAPA today and have
them tested, my back already hurt's.

Everyone focuses on voltage voltage voltage. Please use a clamp on Dc ammeter to see if there is a shorted string holding the chargers down at max current or is the "voltage" output of the charger actually low. You need to measure the DC clamped on current in numerous places to determine the charge rates of the strings.

Let me clear up what I meant all 4 of my batteries were bought at the same time,
same brand of the 4 2 are now nothing but cores. I may have a bad GFI plug for
the charger.

That was told to me also. I had one go down on the house and was advised to replace all. I took the bad battery out of the equation and bridge to the nest battery and all was well. It was at the end of the season for me and I didn't want to replace a battery that I could do with out. I went the next season the same way until there was one battery wasleft and I replace all the next season. We do not do any bondocking so I could do with out. all the batteries. After all I'm a spoiled SOB and want my basic three comforts points such as air, air, and air.
