FC Generator Lift Mod

Hi all:

There was a gen set lift kit or mod for the pre '85 FC's. Does anyone know
what this mod or lift kit actually consisted of? Parts, ect. This mod
raised the gen slide compartment aprox 3 inches higher.

Ralph,

My 84 hadthe raised generatoralong with the swing radiator mod. I think they were often done at the same time.

I'll bet Pat Poor would have an idea. He used to sell Blue Birds new for Friendly Chevrolet back then.

Last I knew he still lives in North Dallas 972-484-9850.

Also Mike Hunter from Metro RV down on Loop 12 might know.
