Dometic refrigerator

Fellows,
The Dometic Refrig. in my coach will not cool. I was talking to a retired
refrigeration tecnical school teacher about it. He said to take the unit out and
turn it over and stand it on its top end for a week and then turn back up and
put it back in and that should solve the problem. I mentioned this to a cousin
of mine who has owned various coaches over the years and he said he had did this
and it worked. Have any of you ever heard of this before.
