air chuck from engine air compressor
One of the reason truckers use a stick to bounce test air pressure
is thy dont want to end up with a stuck valve leaking. Many truckers
and trucking companies wont use add on devices due to possible
failure of that device. Kinda like the air pressure protection valve
in the engine compartment of many Pt's that protect the bulk oil
appliance from leaking. Seems that everyone ends up with a leak in
the protection valve!!.

I check a.p. once a trip and stick/bounce tires every walk around
during a typical 5 day trip. other reason Truckers use the stick is
it is a good excuse to have a tool for personal protection that
without reason to pack, would be considered a wepon. My fovorite
personal protection device is a fire extinguisher, I keep one
insight anyplace I go.

bay forward of the drive wheel. I use it to fill the tires when
needed. I say when needed only because I changed to dually valves
and have not added air in months. Perhaps the new bird does not have
this chuck. The engine driven or twin piston aux air pump supplies
the air, my choice through the aux air system.
