Hi Jon,

If I have this straight, you are able to purchase
liability coverage for your motorhome for $130 per
year. The obvious question is how much bodily injury,
how much property damage, medical payments, uninsured
motorist?

I have full coverage on my 86 PT through Progressive Insurance, and it's
around $500/yr (300/500 coverage, 1k deductible (disappearing, will be zero
after 5yrs of no claims-2 more yrs left).

One of our members had a serious crash in his BB, somewhere near 50k in
damage in his 1986 (?), and Progressive paid everything without much hassle.

I'm sure we'll hear from him...

Hmmm another PT38..asked Kevin about his 1986 PT38 also. How do you
like yours? Any problems since you have owned it? I am picking up a
1986 PT38 this saturday.

They bought the old Zenith TV office building on the Tri state tollway north of
Chicago. I got a notice last renewal that they (Aon) took over or bought up the
carrier for my collector cars and my motorhomes (Progressive). A total of 5
vehicles so I would say they have me by the short hairs.
The letter said, "don't worry". Uh.....OK. I don't know if Warren Buffet owns
them or not.

Thanks Mike.
Now that you mention it, I did get something in the mail stating what
you said. I went out to the Bird a minute ago and find the insurance
papers have the Progressive name on them.

Al and Rita,

We have had Foremost on our '81 Blue Bird for 10 years now, have filed two
claims for a total of about $3500, and they paid both claims promptly and
without hassle or our rates increasing. I do not think they are the least
expensive, but for full-timing they sure have been fair with us.
