Fellows,
I talked to CW in Pooler Ga. They said it was a 88 PT38 144,000 milesand that it was a one owner, owned by a fellow at Hilton Head, S.C. You can click on the tinyurl listed below to see it. I put a binder on it for seven days. Does anyone know anything about this coach.

Howard,
I know there's always a difference btwn pics and real life, but it sure looks good..esp if the engine and generator have been maintained properly. One caution from a former Blue Bird dealer I know. He was very careful to check for rust on any birds that lived near salt water. Most are fine..garaged, cleaned, etc. But some unusually cheap birds that have 'updated' paint may have the cancer. If you can have it thoroughly washed underneath and inspect it from a grease pit, that would probably be a good thing. That is the disadvantage of the steel frame/steel body, but one of only a few. John,
I have an empty lot in the mountainsthat had a mobile home on it that burned.
Or we might get together with Hank and send it down under and sell shares. Or we might park it in Las Vegasso we don't have the expense of diving it out when we go to the west coast.
But on the serious sideit first has to pass muster. I've got a brother going with me he is a former long haul driver who can tear one down to the bones and rebuild it. I've also contacted the Williams Detroit Allison Shop in Savannah about doing a survey on the drive train.
But seriously if anyone knows this coach or the ownerlet me hear from you.

I dont put alot of weight on history even if it is documented.
Everytime I go to the local DetroitAllison dealer, I see fire engines having major work done. FireFighters are anial about records, maintenance and waxing. I may ask questions forwich I have concluded an answer to test the sellers honest disclosure. I dont think you should approach the purchase as if it is the last good deal out there.
