Our '83 for sale - it's sold
We've sold our '83PT35

We've spent much of the last six weeks preparing it; moving our stuff out,
cleaning, waxing,
repairing. When it was ready, we posted here on the Forum, put ads on Craig's
List Tucson
and Phoenix, Vintage Birds and RV Trader.com. We had responses from all ads.
(We had one
joker call and say he ran a not-for-profit and asked us to give it to him). 4
couples came to
see it, and 8 parties inquired by e-mail. It was on the market 15 days. We've
had 5 calls
since we closed the deal.

We really liked that coach.

Best wishes on your sale. What was the cause of your generator not rolling out?

Hi Jim and Pen
That was a fine coach-I remember when I first saw it at the
Bird's Nest and all the neat renovations that had been made by that
Canadian guy-that was pretty fast!!! What worked-did the person
that bought it see it on Craig's List or what?? Just curious...JK

The new owner is my neighbor but from the good side of the tracks.
He is much like Leroy in that everything he has is in perfect shape
and done up to the hilt. I hope he will chime in and post some pics
of his previous conversion, 'Peterbuilt Motorhome'.

I hope Pen and Jim will join future WestCoast rallies as proof that
quality BB friends are forever welcome, irrespective of what they
drive.

Greg, how are you. I have seen your spread and I do not think there is a bad side of the tracks in your neighborhood. It is nice. Still have that car in the barn?

Thanks Ernie. We got thru to Ralph and he assured us that the hydraulics were
fine and
that the problem was the switch. Our mechanic hot wired around the switch and
it rolled
out just fine. The new owner plans to replace the switch - and didn't seem
concerned that
we couldn't roll it out and show it off.

They haven't told us exactly where they saw it. I'll post when I have the real
skinny.

ps: he bought the bus, but we're keeping all the Bluebird friends. He has to
make his
own.
