Water in fuel sensor
Howard, Bill and others,

I just uploaded a .pdf schematic of the water in fuel sensor to the
"files" section of the site. It's called "Water in fuel sensor
schematic". I can't remember where I bought it- maybe B Bird Parts??
Anyhow, there is a Cooper Wiring Devices website with links to
dealers. The sending unit is a Model 913 Coolant level sensor that has
both normally open and normally closed pins. You'll also need the
Packard connector that fits the waterproof :-) plug on the sensor. I
think that Bluebird wired our coaches with 2 wires to the sending
unit, so you'll need to adapt the 4-wire Packard pigtail by only
connecting the signal and ground to the correct wires. It's a good
feature to have- My coach came complete with a rusted out fuel tank
thanks to a faulty sensor. When I cut out the bad section, it was full
of rust and water. Since then, I make it a point to drain a gallon or
so regularly from the bottom of the tank.
