NYC area rally Report!!
Pictures are posted in the NYC Area Rally folder. We had a great turn
out. Ten coaches from 1978 to 1997 year models. And two last minute
cancellations, due to unforeseen circumstances. The weather was
perfect, although unseasonably warm. The fall foliage was not quite
peek, but had begun. The campground was quite, shaded and spacious.
It was a re-acquaintance with old friends and new friends alike.
Since it was informal, there were no scheduled activities.
One wannabe was given the grand tour by each coach owner and was
thrilled that he could see so many bird models and get every ones
opinions.
A few went to NYC to sample the local cuisine, some rode motorcycles,
some repaired and helped others repair items on their coaches, some
met the only person they've every met named "VITO" and we all ate
exceptionally well, (it was like being on a cruise) Thank
You "Brisket Boy".
Some of the things that got fixed were:

Two headlamp upgrades (one of them the most difficult Brisket boy has
ever seen)
Injection pump removal on Perkins generator
Identified a leak in hot water tank and were able to isolate it until
RR can be done
Swing radiator opened
Winter/summer switch properly wired
New rear hi hats installed.

A good time was had by all, so mark your calendars for Columbus day
weekend 2008!
Thanks to all that came.

Thanks for posting the report and uploading the photos of the rally.
Looks as though all had a good time.
