Sorry for your problem Scott. I am rebuilding my '84 PT-40 and am
curious about the location of the retarder hoses. Might as well
replace them as well.

I am trying to replace all hoses and other items that may fail due to age.

My "Blue Box" has nothing in it regarding these type of items.

I do not know exactly, I was told what failed, I did not see it
myself. All I know is the one that failed for me was in a location
that would not allow a roadside repair.
