RIV - let's drop this thread

OK, there has been plenty of emotion and speculation expressed about
Rally In The Valley (aka RIV). At this point, the forum moderators
have discussed it and believe that it is counterproductive to continue
a negative thread tone.

Ron Marabito, one of the forum moderators and a long-time attendee at
RIV, has placed calls and sent a lengthy email to the RIV rally
coordinator, Brenda Rodgers, seeking some answers. The forum needs to
stop the RIV speculation while we are trying to get a response from BB
and hear their side of the story. Ron will let us all know when that
happens.

To be clear, the rally across the street is *not* a forum sponsored rally.

The forum is just providing a coordinating point for those that want
to get together with friends who had previously planned to attend RIV.
If you wish to attend, make your reservation and sign up in the
database provided, but let's drop the negative postings.
