1980 FC 35' Bird for sale in Washington (State)
Well, it's time to downsize my RV to a "B" class as I head into taking
care of my parents.

You can see all the details and photos here:
http://www.studio403.com/coach.pdf

Barebones facts are 1980 F/C Side Bath, double bed in the rear. 149,000
miles. I've had it for about 7 years. Lots of upgrades including two
solar panels and 4 extra house batteries. Wired for ethernet. Two flat
screen TVs, one in the bedroom, one in the living room. New fridge with
icemaker (to replace freezer with icemaker) in addition to the 3-way
fridge.

$28,500 (priced low because it really needs four new paws -- and folks
are particular about their tire brands)

Mark,
This is an interesting FC to me. I'm surprised at the turbo 3208 and the two
speed rear
end in a 1980 coach. Were these added after the factory? Good luck with the
sale.

3 Speed Allison with a 2 Speed rear-end, that's
a refreshing twist. Don't guess you have checked
the diesel mileage running 75-80?

Where is Ben? He could be kept busy for a week calculating the speeds
and RPM's?? What exactly is an oil pressure regulator ?

A correct term for the pressure limit valve built into the lubrication system.
Most engines have this component in the oil pump casting. It can be compromised
if debris finds its way into the bore or ball seat as the case may be. This
will result in loss of oil pressure and we know what happens then.

I'm curious about the engine. I am under the impression that CAT was
not turbocharging the 3208 in 1980. Is it an OE turbocharger or an
aftermarket.

--- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com,

Isn't that close to 3/4 million? Our '80 has a turbo Cat, most have
been repowered by now.
