West Marine has stowable table and post systems in their current catalog on
page 816. The floor mount is 6"x6" (model # 138771). You can choose a round
or oval table. West Marine is also online at westmarine.com.

I will be interested in your progress on this.
I have an 88fc with a very heavy corian top. I would like to do this conversion
as well.

I am wondering if I need a new table and cushions...because.....

I took apart this table top once to notice tha tit would need mods to work the
way the
book shows. It wont just sit on the base. I would need to build a wood piece for
it to
rest on.

I dont know about yours but my table isnt a rectange ...its tapered in at both
ends.
Also, my cushions are thicker on the seat that the backrest...the only thing
similar to
the book is the way the cushions detach.

If you dont find hardware you like at camping world.(i didnt see any when i was
there)

..I would try west marine...or a similar marine shop. This is a very common
feature on
sailboats. ...SoI was thinking there might be some nicer options
for boats...I f i find a solition I will pass it on as well.

Thanks

The previous owner of my coach cantilevered the support on my dinette table,
thus ensuring a clutter free floor. It is very stable as well. Ernie 83PT40 in

Earnie,
I am not sure if my dinette table is an original design, but it provides extra
room by
tapering in at both ends.

the end by the window is attached to the wall with angle

and one small leg on the isle side with a small piece of metal creating a 45
from the
leg tounder the table.....i will upload a pic in am mwfc88 folder and anounce it
when i get my cam back in the bus.

I love the table design...but wish it were a bed.....any ideas on this
apreciated.

Also what was the bulb price at west marine?
