Shirley and I arrived this afternoon at Coushatta Resort and the
Red Shoe RV Resort, Kinder, LA. We are the first and hope some others
come in early. We have tee times of 10:04 and 10:06 on Wednesday and
Thursday, so we can handle two others to play with us.

We went over to the Casino for lunch at the Cafe Gramde. Food
was excellent and reasonably priced.

We are in site 116 which you can't miss when you come in. Since
we were first to arrive, the balance of the group will be placed
around us. It is a pretty good jaunt back to the paviilion and it
will be necessary for you drive your car. Park is clean and wide
open. No problems with satellite dishes. Currently, the park is
about 1/3 full and will probably fill up during the weekend.

The casino is plenty large to accomodate plenty of folks. The
bulk of the people are seniors. They're the only ones with enough
money and time to gamble.

Temperatures were in mid 60's when we arrived. Storms could come
through this evening with tornado warnings. Winds were up during the
afternoon, but have subsided at 5:00 p.m..

Looking forward to seeing all that have signed up.

Nice report Ron, sadly Charolette and I will have to cancel. I called today
but did not get with Karen, will try again in the AM.

We are in SPI and with a bad ride height valve and a second leaking we will
leave here and head to home base.

Safe travels,

Lone Star Birds;

SPI might be South Padre Island (TX)???

Any open slots at the rally for someone without a reservation? My
schedule has changed, and I will be passing enroute to New Orleans for
Mardi Gras---if I'm not held up by snow in Pecos!

Thanks--

There are sites available. I know that we have a couple of
cancellations and besides that, there are spaces available a little
distance away. Come on down and join us.

Howdy, Ron and Shirley and the girls.

We sure enjoyed your visit down here in Hondo, TX. Did you get the fuel
filter for the toad?

We have another cold spell arriving here today. But for a while, we do
have some sunshine at 7:25 AM!!
