Particularly one that gets 10 MPG, not. Liar, liar pants on fire. It should be
interesting how things go for the "buyer"?

Ernie,

Try again. My search for 'Wanderlodge' on fleaBay turned up 12 items,
a couple were ads or literature.

Hey Mike.
The buyer appears to be happy with his new Bird. He is on his way to
the left coast with it. This deal is a great story, wish I had the
liberty to tell it.

Yo Mike, lighten up. Apparently that mpg is typical. LOL!

Check out the Q&A on this current eBay listing for a 79 FC
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...0077704776

That seller's response to a question of fuel mileage was in part: "I
can't tell you exactly how many miles to the gallon she gets. But I
can tell you that I was always pleased with the fuel comsumption. My
guess is, around 12- 14 miles to the gallon. It's a little hard to say
because often we are rolling with the genset on so the the kids can
watch tv."

Apparently if you're not getting that kind of fuel mileage, our Birds
just aren't as efficient as some, or we drive too fast. I know I just
got a record high of approximately 5.8mpg on the Las Vegas trip in
November! Really paid off to use the cruise control and run right at
the speed limits.
