Potable water filtration system

Potable water filtration system
Howard, I'm with you on the RATS water supply. There I was
borrowing water to make coffee. At first I thought my
new coffee maker needed to make a couple pots to be
good. Well, sweetie made 4 pots with that Greorgia swamp
water and all were thown out, phewE!. That got me started
on this filter kick.

Here at home the water is great, really tastes good, but...
a few years ago we got a charcoal filter and started using
the filtered water for drinking, cooking, and making ice.
After ONE year I changed the filter, all the yellow crud,
slime junk on that filter, made me a believer in filtering
water.

Sure it tasted good and looked good too, not as clear as WL
you understand, and thousands of people here drink it, I did
for years without filtering but I won't anymore. My eyes told
me not to put that crud in my body anymore.

supplying me. Remember the water problem at the Rats Rally, was the
lines flushed before we were hooked back up. I unhooked my hose and
when it came back on line I turned on the spigot and muddy wated came
out. At the RIV how long had the water been sitting in the lines when
everyone hooked up. In a perfect world everyone would do the right
thing. But the attitude in most cases is don't worry they will be
gone in a day or two.

Thanksgiving I returned to my childhood home to visit with my mom. I
drank, bathed in and cooked with the very same untreated, unfiltered
well water that I grew up drinking and my mom has used for about 68
years. She in 91 now God bless her. Makes it hard to get excited
about filters these days.

something in that Camping World garden hose that attaches the coach
to the source. The hose is the only variable I a can identify.

that are not needed. If you are attached to a source other than
treated water, that's another story.

filtration system in your home? Probably not. I know I don't. I'd bet
you wouldn't think twice about going to Rio for a month, returning
and making a cup of coffee out of house water that had been stagnant
in those pipes while you were gone. (assuming there wasn't a toilet
float leak) Most of us use commercial chlorinated water systems for
water. If your lines are clean in the bus I'd bet the water in the
bus is the same quality as in your home. Actually I drink the water
that is pumped through my bus. Haven't had any problems.
