Ceiling panel question
One my ceiling panels must have been cut a little short at the factory. There
is a section of
about 18 inches that is not captured by the plastic trim strip that goes
betweeen panels.
Various fixes had been tried by previous owners including construction adhesive
under th
panel and caulk on top of it. The ideal solution would be wider trim strip.
Does anyone
know if a wider strip is available. If not, anyone have any suggestions for
stopping it from
drooping down in that one section?

Kerry- in the flooring business we use a metal track and a snap in vinyl
insert. You can get some Chem-rex adhesive and glue the track in place. Wait a
day
and cut the vinyl insert and snap it in with a hammer. You can find this
stuff at a floor covering supply house.

Trim strips are available from BB. Call Earl Davis at BB Parts. As I recall
they are in 90" lengths and cost about $6 each.
