Mike,

I'd like the directions for an 85 PT40. Mine seems to be leaking and I haven't had the time to tackle it yet. But, I need to get my bottom in gear and get it fixed. I appreciate the help.

The genset tray on the 83PT moves in and out courtesy of a hydraulic ram cylinder. It operates off the same hydraulic motor and oil supply (under the front entry steps) as the leveling jacks. If the hydraulic motor is running, as you state, then you are either low on oil (as Art stated) or there is a seal leak on the cylinder. If you are low on hydraulic fluid, the leveling jacks should not operate properly either. Is there a puddle of hydraulic oil under the genset tray? If so, let us know and I'll post how to repair the hydraulic ram cylinder seals.
