Water Leaks!
Pex makes a connector that works like copper tubing connector. No
ferrel needed. The pex connectors come in all configurations. elbows,
unions. I have used them for years. Cut tubing slide nut over tubing
push fitting into tubing screw nut till it is tight. Just to make
sure this would work, i heated water in tubing to 175 degrees and 100
psi no leaks and no failures. Did this right the water heater outlet
line. 6 years later no problems, and they work in cramped spaces, no
need for the long handle crimpers. Also much less costly.
