new air bags

Hi folks,

Whereas we are hitting the road again this summer, I am putting new air bags
under the coach. Some of you will remember, that two summers ago I had a
rear left-rear bag replaced and I posted that while the outer bag was very
weathered and cracked that the inner rubber was or appeared okay. I had the
remaining three rear bags replaced yesterday and the bottoms of the bags where
it
creases under was the worst. All three were very cracked and the cord
slightly visible in places. The coach already rides better, and one can plainly
see there is a difference in heights in the new bags inflated over the old
bags. These old bags have lasted 26 years, that is pretty darn good. The
mechanic looked at the front air bags and said, "these are going to be more
difficult." Any of you that have changed your bags out, is there anything that
will make the job easier for him?

When I park the coach, if I leave it up on air, within ten to twelve hours
the rear right side of the coach sags. I suspect that it is the height
adjustment valve and am going to change (both, as has been suggested on here).
What I wonder is, if a faulty height adjustment valve only causes the right
rear
of the coach to sag, then when is it, when I had the adjacent pilot control
valve fail two years ago, the whole right side of the coach would not air up?

Tom, Where did you end up getting your air springs? I'm looking at replacing
all of mine, too.
