Hi All...an "oracle" on this site recently mentioned that pricing on
birdconnection consignment listing is about $20K-$30K too high. One I
was "watching" was an '86 PT 36' (Blueberry) that had an asking price
of $80K...sold for $60K which was a little higher than I guessed...but
it was owned by a diesel mechanic and seemed to be extremly well taken
care of. Probably was a "fair" price?

Tends to confirm that asking prices of this particular listing may be
overstated...particularly the 80s PTs...which do not seem to be
moving. FYI...Tom Rootness

P.S. Obviously it makes sense to offer what you feel it is
worth...even if that offer is very low. The problem is that you likely
have to let the unit sit on the site at the high price for quite
awhile...before you make what you feel is a fair offer...too soon and
they will get angry...too late and someone else will buy at your
price!...TMR
