It is hot up here in Connecticut and my last working roof air just
quit. Needless to say, the kids have stopped asking to hang out in the
bus. Has anyone recently replaced their units? What manufacture and
model? Where were the units purchased? How did the interior trim fit
with the curve of the head liner? Thanks Gene

I replaced the rear unit on my 82 with a Duo-therm, and later the front with
a Carrier after the recommendation of the salesman. The Duo-Therm was easy
change out. The carrier was a complete pain due to the curve of the roof.

I just replaced my front air on my 77. Took about 45 min and was no
problem. I used a Carrier and it doesn't quite fit the curve of the roof and
required longer shroud screws but no big deal. Good to be cool again. This
winter I
may sand the edges some to fit the curve better but it is not really
noticeable to anyone else. Good luck. BL
