That tank, mounted vertically, is the primary air tank reservoir for the front air brakes. The ping tanks are about half that size and are mounted within a foot of each air-spring. Eight air-springs; eight ping tanks.

I did take a sponge to it's exterior. You haven't lived till you've washed an H3... by hand!

Have you polished the brake slacker yet?
If you think wahing to H3 is bad try washing and polishing the XL2 you can't leave any marks on the SS. Oh but your H3 is taller.
