Winter travel
Thanks Bill,
I should have been a little more specific. I'm figuring basically two days to drive there and staying in it overnight on the way there. Before I leave it there, I plan on winterizing the water/plumbing system. My concern is just basically over the road since I've never been out and staying in it boondocking in sub freezing temperatures. Thanks again. Winter travel
Tom,
Opps, Sorry, I over reacted and misread your post. The furnace motor should draw a few hundred watts, It should be no problem, keeping warm overnight. The batteries will be at full charge after a days drive. I am a little over protective of our plumbing. We store the Bird indoors with no AC power. Sometimes the temps are single digit. We do not add water, until we drive South to warmer climate. Wife, Patty would really be unhappy with no water, and I would be really grumpy, trying to fix water leaks away from our home base. In these situations the biggest motorhome, can get really small Bill 88 FC Michigan warmed to above freezing for the next few days --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "thomas_sorrentino" > > Thanks Bill, > > I should have been a little more specific.
