Throttle cable
The original cable was produced by morse for bendix they still have
the prints for this cable Morse and Bendix
MORSE WILL NOT BUILD YOU ONE
I have tried unless it is a large quantity (Hundreds) the will not
entertain the idea
IF you can find an industrial shop that can do it much luck if you
find one

I have tried some of the best and they say sorry

Throttle cable
We had a throttle cable made at the place in Denver. They did it while we waited. Sure lucky we had a swing radiator, as it isn't easy to get in place. Would be happy to share our experience, as we learned some lessons in the process. Think it was a little over $100.

Today I talked to Instrument Sales and Service and I'm hopeful
that they can build a new cable after I send them my old one.
I'll let you know the outcome.

I replaced my throttle cable with direct mechanical linkage on my 82-35 FC much better response in fact it improved fuel flow. If you are interested I can e-mail pictures of the linkage, as I a now have the dog house removed.

One more thought, I had know from the start this fix was going to coast me hundreds of
dollars, I would have opted for a new Air throttle with a new cruise control. In the end I
think may have been better off.

However, your FC is newer and may have a different set up.

Ron,
I would be interested in pictures. So far mine is OK, but an on the
road failure would be a nightmare. It would be god to have a
workaround plan. Can you post thm to the forum?
