Mike,

The last time I had the reservoir topped off at Detroit D. they used
the HD32, but my BB Guru said it could use either HD32 or 10-30 he
wasn't sure which was used in my coach.

That's why I have a call into Jessie @ BB in Ft. Valley.

I looked up the filters in the files and have a new cross reference #
for it WIX # 57317.

I've been told it takes three of these filters, checking on that also.

I found these filters online at http://www.filtercrossreference.com

http://www.filtercrossreference.com/cart.aspx?
Number=57317&cost=28.59&case=1

$29.59 each plus shipping around $10.

Speakking of Steering Boxes . . .
I try not to make it difficult. My BB manual has a specific red letter warning which calls for 10w30. It does not give me an option so that is what I use. That is not to say that others do not have other compatible oil options. Along with the three filters in the reservoir is a Parker filter in line on the street side of my coach that has a warning light on it up by the rear start switch which tells the owner if it is in bypass or plugged. That filter is about $100.

Speakking of Steering Boxes . . .
As I drive down the road, road crowns are different as is wind direction. I push the button and set it up. It tracks nicely even when passed by a 53' 18 wheeler. I have not used another manufacturer nor have I driven one with a different model. I like the way the Blue Ox works.

Does the push button activation for centering work well?

Have you used any other steering controls? If so how do they stack up

Speakking of Steering Boxes . . .
Leroy,

Wish I had a manual!

Still waiting for a call back from Jessie @ BB.

Checking on the 4TH FILTER.

Do you think that 10w30 synthetic oil would be a problem in lieu of
regular dino drippings:}

I would think your application is the same but verify with Jesse in no manual in hand.

Speakking of Steering Boxes . . .
Got a message yesterday from Jessie on my answering machine.

It takes three filters.

The 95 BB with an 8V-92 uses 10w30, the 95 Bird with a series 60 uses
HD32. He didn't give an explanation.

Also there is a Parker filter on the95 PT-42 with the series 60.It is
located on the roadside between the radiators and the tag axle. I
haven't lay hands on it yet. I'm reasonably sure it's never been
replaced. Anybody have a part number ?

Anybody know the capacity of the hydraulic system ?

I'll have to call back and get a part # for the Parker Filter &
pricing, along with fluid capacity and perhaps an explanation why
they used different oils in the coaches with different motors.

Speakking of Steering Boxes . . .
I may have misunderstood Jesse's phone message. I don't think the
series 60 has the Parker Filter. I called parts to get pricing and
part #'s and was told the S60 had no inline filter.

Waiting for Tech to call me back to clarify and with spec.'s on fluid
capacity and proper technique on evacuating and replacing hydraulic
fluid.
