				leaky AC compressor
David and Pete Thank you for your suggestions and responses about my engine air compressor. I have made my mind up not for fix the compressor and just use the living room AC with the gen set on. We are on our way to California next week (from Michigan). Would anyone give us an update on the driving conditions on Interstate 80? We hear that theflooding in Iowa and Illinois is really bad. Any info would be greatly welcomed. Steve Thank you for the input. I am unable to find the part number unless I remove the compressor off the coach. This will have to wait until we return from our trip to CA. Hisham Amaral, 97 Wanderlodge, West Bloomfield MI patticake592000 <sgureasko@...> wrote:

Well I at least have a part number. The chassis AC Compressor for my coach is made by Climate Control Inc, and the part number is: ET210L-25073C. Still checking on a price. David Brady '02 LXi, NC David Brady wrote:

Freightliner carries the AC Compressor. Their part number is: ABPN83304101T for $359.51. BB charged me $250.00 for a shaft seal replacement that lasted 2 years. CCI told me that seal replacement is tricky. If you knick the shaft in the slightest, which is very difficult not to do, then the seal won't last and the compressor is now a not-so-good boat anchor. If anyone wants to attempt seal replacement. There's a universal seal kit available, Freightliner part number ABPN83305562T for $27.70. David Brady '02 LXi, NC David Brady wrote:
