Sold at $199.5K. The item has been closed by ebay with the notation: "This item has ended with Buy it Now". One can safely assume that it was under priced. I'd place the 2000 at a fair market value of $225K to $250K. Add $20K for each model year newer. David '02 LXi, NC David Brady wrote:

I'll note that Mr. Oliver tends to put coaches up on eBay at very
aggressive prices. After a certain time on his lot, he "moves 'em out" -- I got an excellent buy on my coach under similar circumstances. Pete Masterson '95 Blue Bird Wanderlodge WBDA 42 aeonix1@... I'd agree Pete, but in this case the LXi had no history of lingering on his lot, at least not from my frequent visits to his website. This LXi was priced to move by it's owner, probably via consignment. David, '02 LXi, NC Pete Masterson wrote:

Well, at least now I know what it would take to sell mine immediately. Thanks for lowering my comps, Paul!
I would say that coach was real close to mine but lacking in woodwork and...it was green. Someone who likes that green got a deal. BradBarton00LXiDFW bbartonwx@...

Brad, I just viewed your coach on RvTraderOnline. You gotta take a lesson from Paul and get some better photos. Your photos don't bring out the beauty that I know your coach possesses. The shot looking forward into the solon is simply too dark, and for heaven sakes, open that slide! If your gonna sell you gotta market that puppy!. David '02 LXi, NC brad barton wrote:

David,
You're right, of course. Trader online gave me just a dozen shots and I loaded one twice by mistake. Their system was very frustrating..took me several attempts to load what I loaded. Part of it is I only half-want to sell and you know what that results in. If I decide to consign it with Paul, they'll do it right. Otherwise, I might load some new shots. The anti-sway bar is out.Ryan (Paul Davis'young service manager) said the body roll was a little 'un-nerving' on corners. He wants me to drive it Monday to make sure that's what I want. As long as my 'road-leveling' valves are working properly, they should pump up the low side and counteract the roll up front to some extent, right? BradBarton00LXiDFW bbartonwx@...

Sort of, the front leveler is in the middle of the front axle, so it won't pump up the outside front air bags. The front air bags are connected to each other - air flows freely from side to side. The center of the front axle should on average be at the height selected by the front leveler. The 2 rear levelers are on each side of the axle and the airbags on the left aren't connected to the right. It's the rear levelers that keep the coach vertical. In theory the outside leveler should flow air to the outside bags in a corner thereby righting the bus, but the air lines are small and the pressure differentials aren't great so it takes time to inflate. This argument also applies to the front bags. There is instantaneous roll resistance since the air lines connecting the left and right front bags are small, and the pressure differentials aren't great, it takes time for the air to bleed. This means when you throw it into a turn the front will initially resist body roll, but in a cloverleaf, this goes away with time. The original bar is so heavy that it, instead of the rear levelers, is what's providing a lot of the work in keeping the bus vertical. The coach, from the factory, has virtually no lean up front, but the ride quality is destroyed in the process. W/o the bar, it'll lean more in a turn, but it does take a set, and after many thousands of miles, mine is off for good. It leans Prevost style. Take a little time with it to get used to it - try not to reject it right away. You can always put it back on. As you know, I am working on a lighter weight bar, I have all the parts and am ready to try it out. I'm the first to agree, that I think we can find the optimal bar in terms of ride and handling. The stock bar is just way to stiff and has gotta go. David '02 LXi, NC brad barton wrote:

Brad, I want to emphasize that what we're attempting to eliminate primarily is the porpoising, which I think is peculiar just to the LXi, and which results in violent to-and-fro weight transfer which may overload both the front air bags and the front tires. I can say unequivocally that removing the anti-sway bar cures this problem. I haven't experienced any LXi moments since the bar was removed. A secondary benefit is that ride quality in general is improved. This comes at the expense of razor sharp handling. The handling sans bar is still good, but it's not the slot-car like handling we had before. It now handles like an of the WLWB's of the '90s. I'm attempting to bring some of the handling back with a lighter weight front bar. (500 lb/in instead of 4000 lb/in). If you're interested I can share some of my calculations regarding how I arrived at 500 lb/in. David '02 LXi, NC David Brady wrote:

I'm anxious to try it. Unless I'm real uncomfortable, I'll leave it off for my entire trip this weekend to give it a full trial.
Your idea of a thinner bar sounds very appealing..best of both worlds..or at least some balance of forces. BradBarton00LXiDFW bbartonwx@...
