Cleaning old fluorescence lights
I am in the process of replacing all the ballasts in the fluorescence lights
with new ones that I got for Stephen Birtles. A couple of the old ballasts have started leaking their potting compound. Has any one found anything that will clean that stuff off? - Chuck Wheeler - 82 FC 31 SB Fort Worth, TX _____ From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com [mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of bloomas Sent: Thursday, July 05, 2007 3:06 PM To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [WanderlodgeForum] Dish Network versus Direct TV ----- Original Message ----- From: Keith Strehle To: WanderlodgeForum@ yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, July 05, 2007 12:20 PM Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Dish Network versus Direct Tv I have direct tv for over ten years in house and bird with know problems Bob Loomas 1985 PT 36 Can anyone tell me if Dish Network is compatible with a Datron dish? I bought Direct TV service for the house and the Bird. It has been the most frustrating experience in recent memory. The home service has not worked consistently for more than a few days at a time. And in that time I have had to return two different receivers. Now it's out again. The one in the bedroom works but the living room doesn't? I waited four hours on the morning of the 4th for a tech who never showed up. Said he couldn't find the address? Anyway, I want to say good riddance to Direct TV and give Dish Net a try. Sorry for the rant but thought I should pass on the info to anyone who may be considering Direct TV. Cleaning old fluorescence lights
Acetone did clean them up. If you don't leave it on too long it will also
clean the plastic diffuser. It does take the paint off the metal frame. - Chuck Wheeler - 82 FC 31 SB Fort Worth, TX _____ From: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com [mailto:WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of samax8 Sent: Friday, July 06, 2007 11:45 PM To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Cleaning old fluorescence lights If you find a good product please post the info.
