I think we are most fortunate to have Mr. Tom Warner take time to share his vast
knowledge with us. I'm sure from time to time we will disagree but we should not
get in a petty attack mode.

Since my post about my Amen has been questioned, let me explain. I was
stating an amen to Howards' post about not bashing Tom Warner. i was
hoping that the thread on that was over. Seems that my email does not
include the previous posters comments. Sorry about the confusion I
might have caused. Ernie Ekberg- 83 PT40 in montana

Folks,
Read Toms post below just one of hundreds. I think you will see why I appreciate
and say we need fellows like Tom Warner. Fellows that have the knowledge and
willingly share it with us.
Thanks Tom!

P.S.
I have no financial position in and am not related to Tom Warner. But hopefully
he will put me in his will.

If anyone needs the chrome backup lights for the 1982 FC35 or the
1985 PT 40 I have a phone number where you can buy them. They are
probably the same for other year BBs. They are made by the Petersen
Mfg Co and are 526 nightwatcher chrome clear driving lights and are
$15.25 each plus postage. The company is A & N Trailer Parts,
Tulsa,OK (918)461-8404. There are two other places (623)974-2559
Desert Golf Carts and (559)486-8480 Terminal Air Brake

Why the fiasco about Tom?

I'll tell you what - when I had a question about an eBay bird, Tom sent me
his personal phone number and spent in excess of half an hour on the phone
talking with me, a complete stranger, tutoring me on the finer points of
Wanderlodge evaluation. He helped me avoid making a potentially expensive
mistake. As far as I'm concerned he's an upstanding guy and a great asset to
this community.

Folks, Internet communications are difficult. Without tone and body
language, statements can be easily misconstrued. If there's anything I can
teach anyone about Internet communications it is this: Always assume the
other party has the best of intentions. If you feel like you're being
attacked, unless it's blatently obvious just chaulk it up to a
misunderstanding and let it go. I doubt Tom meant any harm here.

Just got off the phone with Marj, Tom's wife. Tom had kidney stone
surgery in Ohio- Cleveland clinic. They removed one the size of a golf
ball. Since I had the same surgery years ago, I can sympathize. Best
wishes on your recovery, Tom.

Goodness, that does not sound good, but glad he got the surgery. Best wishes to
a speedy recovery.
Thanks for the update.

Hope your feeling better Tom. Did it occur suddenly when on vacation or did you
travel that
far for the surgery?
