EL Test Panel
The EL Test Panel that Stephen Birtles made up and sent to me proved the
upper dash inverter is bad. I used jumpers and hooked up a new inverter...the upper dash works great. THANKS STEPHEN! *Greg O'Connor*, please send me your Romoland mailing address. I'll mail the EL Test Panel to you. I believe Leroy Eckert is to get the panel after you. -- Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38 8V92, Anaheim Hills, Calif. |

EL Test Panel
Curt, Glad you got it going. I was able to make my upper panel working also,
broken wire at the upper rheostat and one of the inverters. My radio panel does not work. I expect a panel problem. That little test panel will help me confirm. Questions Please: How many inverters power your upper panel? Is your upper panel two six foot pieces? Does the upper rheostat operate only the upper panel. If you do not know please do not take the time to figure it out. As long as my inverters work I'll leave them alone. Still trying to determine how many of those elusive blue squares are in my bus.(only found 4 wired together on the upper rheostat) I refuse to tear out the TV and A/C ducts to trace the 110 side of those inverters. EL Test Panel
Leroy,
Upper panel consists of two 3' pieces, one inverter (if the new inverter goes bad I'll install two), rheostat operates the upper panels, lower dash also has a rheostat.
