Refilling Battery Cells- Help!
Does anyone have a good method for checking add refilling the coach
batteries? On my '99 LX, most of the batterries are mounted on a fixed
shelf directly under the charger tray and the only way I have been
able to access them is by disconnecting the cables and dragging them
out one at a time. Even my previous SOB had a sliding tray. I guess if
there is no other alternative, what are recommendations for a
permanently installed water system? Thanks in advance.

Wayne,
I have '78 FC 33 which also does not have a sliding battery tray. I
wonder if anyone out there has installed an after market tray to solve
this issue? It would be a great project with the right components.

Refilling Battery Cells- Help!
I installed the "Qwik-Fill" battery watering system by "Flow-Rite" for filling
the four
batterys in my FC slide out tray. The system replaces the original filler caps
on the
batterys with valved filler caps that are tied together with plastic tubing.
All you have to
do to refill all the battery cells to the right level is connect the supplied
squeeze bulb to
the filler tube and pump in distilled water until the valves all close off.
System was a great
improvement over manually filling each battery cell. System is available
through Cabellas,
Bass-Pro and other outlets.

You can add a single point bateery watering system
it involves replacing all the caps and interconnecting all the caps
with tubing then you add water at one point and it fills all the cells
Let me know if you want any info on this sysstem.
It works rather well and is probaly cheaper and less hassle than
building a slide out tray

Refilling Battery Cells- Help!
Wayne,

We installed an aquapro system on ToWanda that we purchased from Steve. Not
difficult to install and it works like a dream. Makes quick work of battery
maintenance and it was money well spent.

Thanks Steve!

I saw Ralph install one of those systems on a coach and it really is a great
system.
