Bathroom FAN for old Bird
Anybody know where I can get one of those little round bathroom fans
that have a "push up" bar?? Part number..supplier...etc. aprreciate response...just going thru old bird now...starting over with "old" one.. Also..I have 90SP36 for sale..# 607 on birdconnection...thanks. Hank Hannigan 90SP36 80FC31 |

Got mine at JC Whitney. Like Hannik got mine for 40.00. Installed in about
15 minutes. Also ordered the factory "Jensen" power vent/fan/light that is located in the salon, mine was old, and didn't go up and down- had yellowed too.. looked awful!!! Now, brand new! Bathroom FAN for old Bird
Do you really need a new one? I took mine apart, completely, cleaned
everything up, checked the motor's brushes, lubed it up, put it back together and it's been working like new since. Prior to taking it apart, the motor was frozen and wouldn't turn (just hum...not a good sign), and it was pretty dirty. If you take it apart, either do a little diagram of how the parts go together, or just carefully remember how it came apart. Bathroom FAN for old Bird
Harry,
I got one at a Great American RV store that is now closed. So they are still available from the usual places. The fan is a 12V VANAIR ROOF VENT by Phillips Ventline. Fits in a 6 1/4 dia. opening, with smoke colored plastic dome. Costs about $65. The motor is smaller in dia. than the old one I took out. Works good but noisy. Good luck on your new old Bird. We had an '81FC31 that needed lots of work. I imagine that they are very similar. For $40.00 figured its worth a new fan to freshen up things a bit on a old bus!! I like it.
