Generator won't shut down - gen. set slide out
My '81 31' FC had the same problem but it was not the slide track, it was the
air cylinder. That air cylinder can be rebuilt rather inexpensively.

I had this problem with my old 79 FC-33. I think you will find the
slide runners and bearings are full of dirt. I used a power washer with
hot water to flush all the old dirty grease and crud out and then used
graphite grease to relube the tracks. It worked great after.
