Have to cancel our RATS rally reservations; anyone interested in getting our spot?

Everyone has a different idea. Perhaps John Finn could provide written direction
for next year. He does not have anything else to do.

It just doesn't pay to be nice, so I will be certain not to be in the future.

I don't have any idea about the bull or otherwise. Two weeks ago I posted on
this forum that I could not attend due to extenuating circumstances first come
first served(I reserved a spot upon leaving RATS last year). I received one
response. I gave my position to him. Should I have done something different?

We waited for someone to respond to our post. We then cancelled and gave the
park that persons name. He then called and took our place. If you just cancel, I
presume the next person on the list gets the spot.

So Leroy, how does this standby list work? Do we just cancel our res and they
automatically let the next person on the list know? Or does it require a little
more coordination than that?

REALLY hate to have to do this but we are going to have to cancel our RATS
reservations we made last fall. Our travel schedule doesn't allow us to make it
this year as we must be in Austin TX by no later than Nov 1st.

If anyone is interested in taking our spot as we cancel please let us know
SOON so that we can coordinate the timing and let the campground know who will
be calling them to reconfirm the spot they are holding for us.

RATS NEXT YEAR FOR SURE!
